On Sunday, we went out for brunch for the first time in months (the diner doesn’t count!) - and decided it was time to leave the car seat in the car, and put Bea in the the restaurant highchair for the first time. Well, she loved it. She charmed the waiters and was giddy throughout - we might need to bring toys that clip to the side of the chair next time though - she really seemed to enjoy throwing her toys on the floor….

Having left all my Christmas shopping until the last minute (surprise surprise) - Saturday was an intense day of shopping, running home for Bea to nap, and then back out shopping again. It also happened to be about 35 degrees, but Bea didn’t mind as she was all bundled up and remained in good spirits throughout.

While almost too large for the bumbo now (we’re moving Bea to the highchair after Xmas) - she certainly is enjoying her meal times as well as the plastic bibs we use!

Finally! Beatrice has grown into the gorgeous sweater that our friend Rebecca knitted for her. As I know that Rebecca reads this blog - a huge THANKS!! It fits perfectly and is so warm for winter - yay!

On Sunday, we went to a drinks party at our friend Caroline’s. Bea dressed up for the occasion and proudly demonstrated her near-walking (ok, not really). But she is getting much steadier on her feet!

After a busy (2nd) Thanksgiving lunch on Saturday, Beatrice decided to give the sippy cut another go. She’s certainly holding it now, but again - a bit confused about the actual functionality :-)

Bea took it easy on our Saturday afternoon walk in Prospect Park. And, she only threw Rory (yes, she named her lion that) out of the stroller 3 times….
